Standing Screens

Hana Shoji and Interiors is now offering freestanding shoji screens. There are many low quality imported standing screens on the market today. What sets us apart is our standing screens are manufactured with the same atttention to detail and precise craftsmanship that goes into our custom shoji screens and fusuma panels, as well as the double sided grillwork which allows future paper changes, or for paper repair. This can not be done on import screens.

We currently produce two types of standing screens, made of Redwood or Hemlock. Each comes with our shoji gami paper and is finished with clear oil and wax. Each panel measures 28" wide by 75" high. A 2-panel covers a space about four feet wide; a 3-panel screen will cover approximately six and one half feet; and a 4-panel screen will cover about nine feet.
